Marketing Objectives For Beauty Bliss Campaign
Objective 1:
To create brand awareness campaign using social media with relatable content that is targeted to our buyer’s persona(s).
Creating a brand awareness campaign will help alleviate the reputation and visibility of the company amongst big competitors to their target audiences. As a local and small business, brand awareness is a key initial step in acquiring customers as it allows to know, familiarise and be comfortable with the company (Walgrove, 2019) and at each stage of the buyer’s journey, great brand awareness will keep customers constantly reminded of Beauty Bliss at a time of need. On average, people use social media 2.5 hours daily (Rock Content, 2021) therefore, using social media to create a brand awareness campaign will be an effective tool in reaching and maintaining target personas.
Objective 2:
Increase website traffic by 10% within 3 months.
It is important that potential customers are redirected to the website for any transactional opportunities to occur and by increasing website traffic it will enable customers to navigate through Beauty Bliss website and be encouraged to make a purchase or simply be educated on the products being offered. The number of website visitors is a good indicator of the number of impressions, customers and transactions a business could have during a campaign (Zancanella, 2016).
Objective 3:
Increase social media engagement by 10% using curated content sources as lead magnets.
The importance of social media engagement is stemmed from its effectiveness in creating stronger B2C (business-to-consumer) relationships including brand loyalty, referral and word of mouth that would ultimately lead to more sales (Business Australia, 2020). The more people engaged with content online, the more it would appear or be recommended to external audiences that could potentially be a customer but has not been made aware of the brand/business until their friends interacted with the content and the algorithm allows it to be shown to their newsfeed. With a vast majority of information available online, a mutual frustration for businesses and customers alike is not knowing which information is valuable (Shaw Academy, 2021). Using curated content sources provide the best available content that is relevant for the business and their target audiences.
